Cancerinformation.com.hk Charity Foundation (CICF), is a local NGO that supports cancer patients and their families. We provide financial, psychological and social support to cancer patients and promote cancer awareness to the public. For example, we help qualified patients with financial assistance to cover medical and daily expenses, free nutritional supplements, free oncology consultation service and Kowloon Cancer Rehabilitation Clinic; organise activities and courses for cancer patients; and provide volunteering opportunities for cancer patients. We also provide information on cancer to the public through seminars and publications.

Our Profile
Cancerinformation.com.hk Charity Foundation (known as “the CICF” as mentioned below), is an on-line interactive platform formed by a group of cancer patients and cancer survivors with the aim of delivering practical and professional advice and information to the patients and the caregivers. To encourage our members to be active and positive in treating their diseases, different kinds of activities such as medical talks, workshops and chat groups will be organized. It is hoped that through the exchanging of their own experience and ideas could the aim of mutual help and support be achieved.

Our History
►With the support from cancerinfomation.com.hk Limited, the CICF was established in 2017.
►Our interactive information website is run from the perspectives of cancer patients and caregivers.
►We work to collect the latest information, news reports and medical and scientific surveys on cancer-related topics. Professionals from different arenas will be invited to prepare articles sharing their knowledge and experience. Open forums to interact with the public through social media will also be set up where patients and caregivers can share in the platform for their own experiences and touching stories.
►Apart from information exchange and sharing, we expect to deliver an important message to the public of giving trust to your doctor, and to grasp the golden timing of receiving the appropriate cancer treatment.

Our Service Scope
Providing Information, Advice and Public Education

Our service scope includes:
►Organizing health talks;
►Publishing journals;
►Setting up of website and social media platform;
►Attending and organizing activities such as visit to hospitals and schools for the purpose of promoting public awareness and concern towards cancer;
►Providing financial subsidy through fund-raising and to discuss with different stakeholders for the possible plans of providing assistance to those patients in need.

Providing Recreational Activities and Building-Up of Mutual Support Network

We will organize activities for our members that include:
►Classes for interest;
►Recreational and body building activities;
►Mutual support groups;
►Quarterly gathering for the patients which they can meet up with other patients of similar background of medical history so as to build up the mutual support network in between.
