Notice to Participants
Health and Safety Advice
- Runners should read the details of the activity and acknowledge the activity is physically demanding, and may cause physical injury or even death.
- Runners should be well trained and physically fit for the activity. For any question, please consult medical professionals in advance.
- Runners who are pregnant or with chronic diseases, like heart disease and high blood pressure, are not recommended to participate in the event.
- During the activity, runners are suggested to be attentive to their own physical conditions. If they feel unwell, please stop immediately.
- Runners must comply with the instruction of the staff of organizers and pay attention to other participants on the racecourse.
- Runners must bear full responsibility for their health, safety and third-party liabilities during the activity. Runners are advised to purchase their own insurance cover if necessary. The organizer, affiliated corporation(s) and all of the staff will not be liable for the health, safety and third-party liabilities of participants.
Adverse Weather Condition
- Be prepared for adverse weather race day. Check the HKO forecast prior to attending: http://www.hko.gov.hk/contente.htm.
- If typhoon signal no. 8 or above is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory after 12:00 pm on the day before the event, the event will be canceled.
- If a Red or Black rainstorm warning signal is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory after 4:00 am on event day, the event will be canceled.
- If weather conditions turn bad or the aforesaid signals are issued during the activity, the Organiser/Event Producer may modify or cancel the event.
Refund
- No refund is allowed after registration is completed, for more details please refer to “Terms & Conditions”
Change of Participant’s Information
- The Organiser/Event Producer will charge a HK$100 administration fee for the change of the participant’s personal data after the submission of the application. Changing of participant’s personal data will not be accepted after the registration deadline (10 November 2024)
Suggested Gear
- The event will take place on hard road and grass surfaces, and all participants must wear suitable sports shoes.
Number BIB
- Runners are requested to wear their number BIBs in the front side of body during the race.
Bag Drop
- We provide bag service on race day
- We do not provide plastic bags for personal belongings
- Fasten the bag tag provided at race pack collection to your personal bag
- Do not leave any valuables or cash/cards/keys in your drop bag
- We will not be held responsible for any lost or missing items on race day
No Shortcut
- All Runners must follow the course. Runners will be disqualified if they are found taking shortcuts.
No Littering
- No littering is allowed on the course. If any runner is found littering, his or her result will be disqualified. Please responsibly dispose of your trash in the rubbish bin along the road and at the finish line.
Appeal
- For prize winners or potential prize winners who wish to dispute the results, it should be filed within 15 minutes after the official announcement of the results with a deposit of HK$100. The deposit will not be refunded if the appeals are not successful.
- The Organiser/Event Producer will accept the appeal on race day only. No appeal will be accepted after 15 minutes of the results being announced.
- In case of any disputes, the Organiser/Event Producer reserves the right of final decision.
