General Rules

  1. Participants must study the event rules and regulations carefully. Upon submission of your application of entry, a participant is deemed to have accepted all Terms and Conditions of the Event, the Official Rules as stipulated, and those that may be later introduced by the Organiser/Event Producer.
  2. Participants understand and agree that participation in the Event is voluntary and at their own risk of participants. Each participant agrees to absolve the Organiser, Event Producer, and any sponsor and/or supporting organizations from any liabilities arising from bodily injuries, accidents, death, or other losses during or caused by traveling to and from the event venue during the event or whatsoever reason.
  3. Each participant shall be physically fit and have the ability to participate in the Event. The Organiser/Event Producer reserves the right to disallow/disqualify any person who is known or suspected by the Organiser/Event Producer to be physically unfit to participate in the Event and such person shall accept such decision of the Organiser/Event Producer accordingly.
  4. All information provided by participants in the registration form must be true and accurate.
  5. All entries must be submitted no later than the registration deadline. Entry is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  6. The Organiser/Event Producer reserves the right to close the registration at any time, whether before or after the registration deadline specified, without prior notification.
  7. The Organiser/Event Producer will charge a HK$100 administration fee for the change of the participant’s personal data after the submission of the application. Changing of participant’s personal data will not be accepted after the registration deadline (13 Oct 2024).
  8. Participants aged 18 or below must have obtained the consent of a parent/guardian.
  9. All participants should register according to the age requirement of each category respectively (if applicable). Offenders will be disqualified and requested to leave the route/event venue.
  10. Participants shall indemnify and/or reimburse the Organiser/Event Producer in respect of any additional expenses or costs incurred by the Organiser/Event Producer arising from or in connection with any fault, action, or behavior of such Participants during participation in the Event.
  11. Participants must retire and leave the route /event venue immediately if requested by any event official, medical staff, event director, or security staff.
  12. Winners will be required to present their identification including an HK identity card, passport, or Registration Card for People with Disabilities for verification.
  13. Public liability insurance would not be provided by the Organiser. It is recommended that all participants purchase their own personal accident insurance and other relevant insurance according to their needs.
  14. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any person from and nullify his / her result of the Event and further to forbid and prohibit such person from participating in future races, competitions, and events organized by the Organiser if a participant is found to have violated, breached or failed to perform any Laws or Regulations of Hong Kong, revenue regulation or the Official Competition and House Rules set for the Event. The Organiser shall not be obliged to refund any entry fee under any of such circumstances.
  15. Terms and Conditions are in Chinese and English. In the case of discrepancies between the Chinese and English versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
  16. The Organiser/Event Producer reserves the right to amend the program of the rules and regulations. Should there be disputes, the Organiser/Event Producer reserves the right to the final decision.

Entry to the event venue

  1. This event will be held at Kam Road Park (Golf Court), Fanling.
  2. Participants must study the event rules and regulations of revenue carefully. Upon submission of your application of entry, a participant is deemed to have accepted all Terms and Conditions of Park and Garden. Sheung Shui.
  3. Visitors must enter through a specific entrance and present a valid activity stamp before entering.
  4. Participants must show their number bib to exchange for a wristband. Participants who cannot show their bib number must register to redeem a wristband.
  5. The organizer will not provide another wristband for any lost, stolen, or damaged activity wristbands.
  6. Activity wristbands can only be used to enter the venue on the day of the event.

Race Pack

  1. Race Pack notification email will be sent to participants via email two weeks before the race.
  2. Participants are required to bring a printed copy of the notification email or present the notification email to receive event materials.

Event Rules & Regulations

  1. The age of participants is calculated by year of birth.
  2. The age and gender of the participants shall be based on the identification documents.
  3. Each participant shall be physically fit and have the ability to participate and finish the Event. The Organiser reserves the right to disallow or disqualify any person who is known or is suspected by the Organiser to be physically unfit to participate in the Event and such person shall accept the decision made by the Organiser accordingly.
  4. Participants must wear their bibs during the race.
  5. Participants shall keep their own number of bibs securely. The Organiser/ Event Producer would not re-issue a new number bib under any circumstances.
  6. Bib and Timing Chips are non-transferable once your entry is accepted.
  7. Participants must not harass or impede other participants from conducting activities/competitions. Offenders will be disqualified and requested to leave the event venue.
  8. Cheating in the race is also not allowed. Offenders will be disqualified once found.
  9. Official Time (Gun Time) will be used for determining the prizes and positions.
  10. Should there be disputes about the prizes and positions, the Organiser/Event Producer reserves the right to the final decision.
  11. All prizes are non-exchangeable for cash.
  12. E-certificate of Achievement will be issued to all qualified participants with an Official Time in all activities and categories. Participants who do not start the activity according to the designated start time and assigned registered category and participants who do not complete the event, shall not be entitled to any awards and certificates.
  13. If participants violate any race regulations, their eligibility will be revoked, and they will not be awarded any prizes or certificates. The registration fee paid will not be refunded.

Appeal

  1. For prize winners or potential prize winners who wish to dispute the results, it should be filed within 15 minutes after the official announcement of the results with a deposit of HK$100. The deposit will not be refunded if the appeals are not successful.
  2. The Organiser/Event Producer will accept the appeal on race day only. No appeal will be accepted after 15 minutes of the results being announced.
  3. In case of any disputes, the Organiser/Event Producer reserves the right of final decision.

Baggage storage

  1. Baggage storage will be provided. Please do not bring any valuable items. The Organizer/Event Producer is not responsible for the loss or damage of the baggage stored with us.

Event Cancellation & Refund Policy

  1. The Organiser/Event Producer reserves the right to cancel or cut short the Event for the following reasons. Registration fees and charitable donations (if applicable) will not be refunded.
    1. Adverse weather conditions
      1. If typhoon signal no. 8 or above is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory after 12:00 pm on the day before the event, the event will be canceled.
      2. If a Red or Black rainstorm warning signal is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory after 4:00 am on event day, the event will be canceled.
      3. If weather conditions turn bad or the aforesaid signals are issued during the activity, the Organiser/Event Producer may modify or cancel the event.
      4. Landslides, rock falls, or hill fires along the course.
    2. Protests or blockage along the course.
    3. Force majeure i.e. due to the occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organiser/Event Producer and which renders it impossible, unsafe, or impractical to hold the event. A force majeure event shall include, but is not limited to, acts of God, war, hostilities, invasion, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, riot, commotion, strikes, go-slows, lockouts or disorder, outbreak of disease, acts or threats of terrorism.
  2. No refund is allowed after registration is completed. Registration fee paid for duplicate entries will not be refunded and places cannot be transferred to another applicant or activities. If a participant allows another party to attend on his or her behalf, both the participant and the runner who runs on behalf of the participant will be disqualified and might not be allowed to prticipate in future events.
    The Organiser/Event Producer reserves the right to disqualify any person and/or nullify his or her result due to any violation of the Official Rules of the Event. No refund will be accommodated in the case of disqualifications (applicable to events).
  3. The Organiser/Event Producer reserves the right of final decision about the event. Any changes or contingent measures for the event are announced by the Event page on Instagram and Facebook. Please pay attention to the latest announcements on the event’s Instagram and Facebook page.
